The EcoMister decreases your yards’ bug population by sporadically misting the area you choose with a misting concentrate. The system uses Pyrethrum, a low-toxic, organic insecticide derived from crushed flowers.

In addition to mosquitoes, Pyrethrum is effective at killing more than 200 bugs, including biting flies, crickets, ants, fleas, ticks, gnats, horse flies, wasps, yellow jackets and many other outdoor pests. An Eco-Mister is the only effective and
guaranteed system that both REPELS and KILLS the insects.

Pyrethrum is a water-based, organic insecticide that is safe for use around both people and animals. Most pests can be eliminated with only four scheduled, 30 to 60 second spraying sessions daily, but it’s also safe to spray when you see mosquitoes and other insects present around you. The system works best when it sprays during times insects are at their peak, such as dawn and dusk. Sticking to a routine misting schedule will also help prevent most types of insect re-infestations, so it’s best to leave the system on while you are traveling away from home. Because Pyrethrum is derived from plant extracts, some people may experience allergic reactions. Misting also is not advised during windy conditions, but the optional weather-sensors can detect inclement weather and prevent the system activation at those times.
